New Nutrition Strategy for Weight Loss

I have been struggling with my weight for years and it is getting to the point where it is becoming a serious health risk and I do not want to die before my time. Though my time might be coming up soon if I am not able to get rid of some of this weight. It is really scary, to be honest. I am looking at to pick up some strategies for changing my nutrition and my diet in order to help me to lose weight. I know that changing my diet alone won’t be enough to get me to the weight that I need to be at in order to reduce my risk of heart disease and all of the other diseases that come about as a result of being overweight. But it is going to be a big help towards achieving that goal. I know that what I have ate over the past couple of decades, and maybe more importantly, how much I have ate, have been huge factors in the amount of weight that I have put on in the first place.

Of course, I have never really been skinny, but I have not always been as overweight as I am right now. I need to lose at least 150 pounds, but more would definitely be helpful. I need to have surgery on one of my knees, but unfortunately, I weigh so much that the doctors think that it is too much of a risk to my health to undergo the surgery at this point in time. So I am trying my best to be able to lose some weight and I hope that I can make some progress. If I am not able to make progress then I am not sure what is going to happen to me.
