I am thinking that this is an important issue and something that deserves to be more of a priority. It seems as though internet is a necessity to me and it should regulated as though it was important to every one. Right now I have been looking for the best fiber optic prices on high speed internet. I was checking out the Fort Wayne Frontier deals and trying to figure out whether or not they have a good package. It is hard to say without having a chance to check it out in person. I like to have the internet for a bit before I make up my mind. For example the Internet I have now is mostly okay, but completely priced about twice as much as it seems like it should be. However it has a big problem called peak usage. Any internet you get is probably going to have the same issue. It boils down to the fact that the people who sell the internet are trying to make as much money as they can while investing as little as they can.
So in essence at peak use the internet just goes down to nothing. It is usually in the evening, in the time after all of the people get home and before people start going to bed for the night. Say around 9 PM you are going to have peak usage and that is when you notice that the internet starts to be terrible. There are too many people using it and not enough signal to share. It is a simple matter of supply and demand. That is probably the same reason why it is expensive. People want the internet and they do not want a crappy internet, so if you charge them for it they probably pay.
